    Debra Bard is a graduate of Animal Behavior College and has recently worked as a Vocational Instructor, in charge of a Service Dog Training Program at a girls group home for troubled teens, where dogs were foster raised and trained for Susquehanna Service Dogs, who places dogs for use with disabled persons.

​

     Her much loved hubby, Lauren Bard, is also an animal lover. He raises beef cattle and farms, Lauren Bard Farms.

When their nest got empty, they started raising Golden Retrievers in 2005. They take pride in making sure the mamas and babies get the nutrition, and proper upbringing to produce litter after litter of healthy puppies, with a head start on training before going to their new homes.

     As a breeder and a trainer, Debra is a strong advocate for early training. A favorite quote:

 

                                         "A trained dog is a good dog, and a good dog will have a home for life."​
